Who we are

Frenti LLC (“Frenti”, “we”, “us”) is an AI consulting and development studio with offices in San Diego, California and São Paulo, Brazil.

This policy explains how we handle personal data on frenti.com and in the applications, integrations, and automations we build and operate for our clients.

Where we operate an application on behalf of a client, that client is the data controller and Frenti acts as a processor on their instructions. In those cases the client’s own privacy notice governs how your data is used, and this policy describes the baseline practices we apply as their processor. For frenti.com itself, Frenti is the controller.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, and anything you choose to write when you fill in a form, request a proposal, or contact us.
  • Messages and conversation content. The content of enquiries you send us and of chats you have with an assistant or support experience we operate.
  • Usage and device data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps.
  • Connected accounts. If you choose to sign in with or connect a third-party account such as Facebook, we receive only the fields that service shares with us based on the permissions you grant — typically a name, profile ID, and email address.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (health, biometrics, political opinions, and similar) and ask that you do not send them to us.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiries and provide the service you asked for.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website and applications.
  • To keep our systems secure and prevent abuse, fraud, and spam.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use data from connected accounts for advertising or share it with advertising networks.

Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or Brazil’s LGPD applies, we rely on:

  • Consent — when you opt in, for example to analytics cookies or marketing email. You may withdraw it at any time.
  • Contract — to deliver a service you or your employer engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — to run and secure our site and respond to enquiries, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — when the law requires us to keep or disclose records.

Sharing and service providers

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, and only for that purpose. By category these are:

  • Cloud hosting, storage, and content delivery.
  • Database and backend platform providers.
  • Website and product analytics.
  • AI model and language model providers, used to power assistant features.
  • Email, messaging, and internal notification tools.
  • Scheduling and calendar booking tools.

These providers act on our instructions under written contracts that restrict what they may do with the data. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, and we may transfer data as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies that are needed for the site to work, and analytics that help us understand which pages are useful. Analytics data is aggregated and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functions may stop working if you do.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, and then delete or anonymise it. Enquiries and project correspondence are typically kept for the life of the relationship plus the period our legal and tax obligations require. Server logs and analytics are kept for a short rolling window.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your data — see Data Deletion.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Restrict or object to a particular use.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email legal [at] frenti [dot] com or send the request through our contact form, and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to your local data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).

Facebook and Meta platform data

Some of our applications, and some we operate for clients, connect to Facebook or Instagram. Where that applies:

  • We receive only the permissions you explicitly grant during login or connection, and nothing more.
  • We use that data solely to provide the feature you connected the account for — for example authenticating you or publishing content you asked us to publish.
  • We do not use Meta platform data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to data brokers.
  • We delete it when you remove the connection, when you ask us to, or when it is no longer needed for that feature.

To remove a connection, use the Apps and Websites section of your Facebook settings, or follow the steps on our Data Deletion page.

International transfers

We operate from the United States and Brazil and use providers based in those and other countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in. Where data leaves the EEA, the UK, or Brazil we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Brazil. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. For changes that materially affect how we use your data we will give notice on the site, and where required ask for your consent again.
